EAGLE-i

TECHNICAL OVERVIEW

EAGLE-i is a systems management solution that ensures that your business systems are always available and performing at their peak. It provides you with an end-to-end view of customer experience, systems' performance and objective measurements of service levels.

The system management functions available within the EAGLE-i framework include:
Customer experience measurement and profiling
Transaction performance monitoring
Universal data gathering and correlation
Automatic (dynamic) baselining
Information store for system expert knowledge
Data forecasting and capacity planning
Root cause analysis
Integration with existing help desk systems
Comprehensive audit trails
Comprehensive reporting facility
Powerful automation facility

This framework is underpinned by an agentless architecture. True agentless systems do not impose any changes to the managed IT environment and do not create software sociability issues. They thereby avoid the problems associated with agent life cycles, maintenance overheads and security implications.

EAGLE-i's non-intrusive deployment model allows it to be installed and removed
rapidly without disruption to the managed system. The EAGLE-i framework utilises a patented systems model that is embodied in the concept of a “Knowledge Tree”. In essence the Knowledge Tree is a representation of the data and its complex
relationships within a dynamic system.

The framework can be configured for any specific management requirement by loading the relevant Knowledge Tree and then associating the Knowledge Tree with the managed system’s host components.
